i need to add something, since it's been too long. but my thoughts are uncollected as of late, and i don't wish to type ambiguous conjecture with no definition. so perhaps i will leave it at this:
i would like you, whoever you may be, to question your passion with the following in mind. passion is not a hobby. it is not an opinion. it is not flippant, or selfish, or subtle. passion is an idea, or faith, that one holds so close to their existence that they are willing to lose everything, if only to realize what it is. passion is something which burns so strongly that everyone feels its warmth, while simultaneously being a part of its fire. passion is something that encompasses all life, not just your life.
